Chris Flook,President, Global Expansion Markets / Head of Europe, Argus Media
Christopher Flook is President, Global Expansion Markets / Head of Europe. He has regional responsibility for Argus’ European business, and oversees global services in Generation Fuels, Fertilisers, Petrochemicals, Metals and Agriculture.
Christopher joined the company in 2019. He previously worked at RELX, leading price reporting agency ICIS through a time of significant growth from 2005 to 2016, including two years based in Shanghai. Between 2016 and 2019 he served as Chief Executive of Cirium, a data analytics business for the global aviation and travel industries, and oversaw the commercial property data business EG. Christopher was educated at the London School of Economics.
Kamal Nanavaty, President, Chemical & Petrochemicals Manufacturers’ Association
Shri. Kamal P Nanavaty is the President – Strategy Development of M/s. Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). He is also the Mentor for Reliance Jio in Maharashtra, Mumbai and Goa for its network rollout.
He is the President of the Chemical & Petrochemicals Manufacturers’ Association (CPMA) and has been leading the India Chapter for Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference (APIC). He is a member of ACC (American Chemistry Council), SPE (Indian Section), IPI (Indian Chapter). He is the Special Advisor – Empowerment Committee and Head – Resource Development Committee of Plastindia International University (PIU), which is in collaboration with University of Massachusetts, Boston, USA.
Chuck Venezia, SVP, Global Petrochemicals Argus Media
Chuck Venezia is Senior Vice-President, Petrochemicals and was a Principal of DeWitt & Company Inc., prior to merger with Argus Media, Inc. He has more than 20 years of experience in the petrochemical industry.
He joined DeWitt in 2002 from CheMatch where he served as Executive Director, Latin America of the online trading platform for bulk petrochemicals. Before joining CheMatch, Chuck served as Area Manager, Latin America for Chevron Chemical Company. At Chevron, he managed the company’s polymer export sales and other chemical sales into Mexico and South America.
Joe Duffy Principal, Petrochemicals Consulting Services Argus Media
Duffy has over 25 years in the industry and joined Argus in 2009 following a long experience within the European olefins market. He has worked for ICI, Huntsman and SABIC where he was responsible for the Business Management of SABIC’s Olefins business in Europe.
In his time at Argus, Joe worked on a number of consultancy projects covering the structure of the European Olefins markets, investment opportunities in the Middle East and the potential for ethane imports to Europe. Joe is also responsible for the provision of regular client services for Ethylene and Polymers along with the monthly Olefins outlook forecast.
Sanjay Moolji, Global Business Director Tricon Energy
Mr. Sanjay Moolji is the Global Business Director of Tricon Energy Ltd for their Polymer business and the Global Product Director & Head for their polypropylene business and is based out of Houston, Texas in the USA. He has been with Tricon Energy Limited since July 2009.
Prior to his current assignment, he was the General Manager for Exports of Reliance Industries Limited for Polymers Sector. In Reliance he had been in International marketing for polymers in various positions including overseas assignments in Indonesia and China. Sanjay has more than 33 years of Sales and Marketing experience in a spectrum of industries ranging from Polymers, Industrial Chemicals, Consumer Durables, Pharmaceuticals and Bulk Drugs.
Puneet Madan, Head – Polymer & Elastomer Chain, Reliance Industries Limited
Puneet graduated as a Chemical Engineer in 1988, and subsequently acquired a post graduate diploma in Business Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur, in 1990. He started his career with Reliance in 1990 as a Management Trainee in the Petrochemicals Marketing & Sales Dept. He worked with BASF India for 3 years, before re-joining RIL in 2003.
Prior to his current assignment, Puneet was heading RIL’s Polyethylene business from 2011 – 2013 and Polypropylene business and Polymers Supply Chain Management from 2013 – mid 2015.
Puneet took over his current role in January 2021.
Puneet is a keen wildlife photographer and has travelled extensively throughout the world, including both the polar regions, in pursuit of his hobby
Saugata Chaudhuri, Head – Petrochemicals Hindustan Petroleum and Corporation Ltd (HPCL)
Mr. Saugata Chaudhuri is an experienced professional who spent 20+ years in Petrochemicals industry and occupied various positions in respective organizations. Currently he is working with HPCL (Hindustan Petroleum and Corporation Ltd) as Head – Petrochemicals based out of Mumbai and responsible for HPCL’s upcoming HRRL petrochemicals plant in Barmer.
Mr. Chaudhuri worked with various leading petrochemicals companies e.g. TOTAL Petrochemicals, Reliance Industries and Haldia Petrochemicals. He has rich experience in various domain of Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Strategic Planning, etc. He is truly a petrochemicals person having diversified experience in various petrochemicals products, e.g. polymers, Aromatics, Olefins etc.
Mr. Chaudhuri has extensively traveled across Asia, Europe and US and gained deep understanding and insight of polymer market dynamics of these key regions over the years.
Muhamad Fadhil VP, Global Business Development – Petrochemicals Argus
Muhamad Fadhil has extensive experience tracking and analysing petrochemical prices and market trends.
His areas of interest include crude and downstream markets in Asia and the Middle East. Before joining Argus, Fadhil was Head of Middle East Markets for ICIS, based in Dubai, where he was overall responsible for market engagement and strategy. He also previously worked for Singapore-based Channel NewsAsia, Hill & Associates Risk Consulting and the O&S Group of Companies.
